On November 1, 2004 the experienced and successful team of H-T Capital Markets brought its municipal finance professionalism and a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office to Northeast Securities as an operating division of the firm. This 10 member team has been operating together since 1990 with their core talent of municipal finance professionals working with each other for more than 27 years.

The H-T Capital Markets team will continue to provide Pennsylvania 's municipalities, counties and state authorities with expert assistance in structuring and funding all of their municipal finance needs. General obligation bonds, revenue bonds, derivative financing (such as swaps and swap options) and specialized project management are all part of what H-T Capital Markets can do for their clients.

H-T recently expanded south, with the addition of a former partner from a prior firm. This expansion has opened Alabama and adjacent states to H-T's expertise.

The division also provides expert cash management brokerage to help make sure that project cash is invested in a risk adverse way to achieve the maximum possible return while waiting to be utilized.
