Over 30 years of Wall Street experience at Goldman Sachs, Oppenheimer and C.E. Unterberg, Towbin. Lee was an all American team food analyst, a diversified company analyst and Director of equity research. He also started and managed a hedge fund. He is a graduate of Princeton University and received his MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He serves on various boards including the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee of the St. Andrews School in Middletown, Delaware.

For over 20 years, Mr. Eisenberg was widely recognized as a top ranked gaming, lodging, and leisure analyst, achieving the number one rank in both the Institutional InvestorAll-American Team poll and the Wall Street Journal's “Best on the Street”survey of all brokerage industry analysts. From 1981-1991 he was a managing director at Bear Stearns & Co. and from 1991-2000 he was a managing director at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and CIBC World Markets. The early part of his career was spent at Philips, Appel and Walden. Mr. Eisenberg received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. He currently oversees Northeast Securities Inc's gaming, lodging, entertainment & leisure effort.

 

David Chiang

Mr. Chiang has been involved in the securities industry for over 15 years. Prior to joining the firm, David helped start the S&P long/short fund at Unterberg Asset Management. Mr. Chiang has over 10 years of experience as a sell-side analyst at Oppenheimer & Co., Nikko Securities International and C.E. Unterberg, Towbin. On the sell-side, Mr. Chiang has followed Integrated Oil & Gas, Exploration & Production, Refining & Marketing, PC, Semiconductor, Semiconductor Equipment and Storage Networking sectors. Mr. Chiang was frequently quoted by industry publications and interviewed on CNBC and Bloomberg Television. Mr. Chiang is an honors graduate from New York University's Stern School of Business. He currently oversees Northeast Securities Inc's Alternative Energy, Technology and China banking efforts.

 

Leslie McCall

Ms. McCall has over 16 years of experience in the securities industry, including eight years experience as a sell-side research analyst and four years as a buy-side analyst and portfolio manager. On the buy-side she was responsible for the consumer portion of the US institutional equity portfolios for HSBC Asset Management from 2000-2004; on the sell-side, she followed apparel, footwear, and retail stocks for CIBCOppenheimer and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Prior to gaining her CFA in 1992, Ms. McCall worked as an investment banker with Security Pacific Merchant Bank, Smith McDonnell & Co., and Devonshire Holdings, advising both privately-held and Fortune-100 corporate clients. She has an MBA from the University of Virginia's Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a BA from Wellesley College.

David currently serves as Managing Director/ Investment Banking at Northeast Securities where he assists issuers and investors in connection with equity and debt private placements and advises on merger and acquisition transactions.

Prior to joining Northeast in November 2001, he served as Vice President of Corporate Planning at the investment bank C.E. Unterberg, Towbin for two years and Ernst & Company for eight years (where his last banking deal was the sale of the firm). Before that, he was a commercial banking officer with the Barclays Bank of NY, The CIT Group and Howard Savings Bank (now Wachovia Bank). Mr. Tsiang is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey, CFA Level I qualified and holds NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Additionally, David serves on the board of directors of Baywood International, Inc.

Mr. Kim recently joined Northeast with over 10 years of Wall Street experience. Prior to joining Northeast, Mr. Kim was a portfolio manager for long/short equity hedge funds at CE Unterberg and Shoreline Asset Management. Before that position, he was a sell-side research analyst covering the telecommunications and cable industries at Schroder & Co. and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Kimis a graduate of Cornell University and received his MBA from Columbia University.


Michael Elling

Michael Elling joins Northeast as Managing Director of the Communications and Info-media Investment Banking practice with nearly 25 years of Wall Street experience in research and investment banking. Mr. Elling was SVP of telecommunications research at Oppenheimer where he was a WSJ All-star analyst. At Prudential Securities, he was Managing Director and Group Head of the telecommunications research practice. He was also a senior member of the Investment Banking team. More recently Mr. Elling was involved in a number of start-ups and numerous private and public capital raises and M&A transactions totaling over $400 million. His transactions in and approach to the Communications and Info-Media Sectors are guided by a unique, research-driven framework called the InfoStack, which consistently models supply and demand issues across the rapidly changing sectors leading to lower risk and higher investment returns. He is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has Economics PhD credits (ABD) from NYU's GSAS.

John joined NESC as Senior Vice President focused on new business development. John has significant experience and broad contacts in media and entertainment as well as knowledge in alternative energy. He appears regularly on Fox News as a guest Financial Analyst and political commentator. He has sponsored charity events for the Make a Wish Foundation and The American Freedom Festival, raising monies for US Soldiers. Layfield wrestled with the World Wrestling Entertainment for 11 years, becoming the longest reigning champion in “Smackdown” television history. He wrote a personal financial planning book “Have More Money Now” and subsequently has appeared on every major network as a financial and political commentator. He has been to the Middle East five times to visit the soldiers on behalf of the WWE, AFE and USO, spoke at the 2004 Republican Convention and has been invited to both the White House and Buckingham Palace. John has had the honor of laying a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and is a regular visitor to the Walter Reed Hospital. John was a consensus All-American at Abilene Christian University; later to sign as a free agent with the Los Angeles Raiders. He played one year with the World League of American Football’s San Antonio Riders. John has his own branded fishing lure called the Layfield Lure and a line of action figures in his likeness.
