Over 30 years of Wall Street experience at Goldman Sachs, Oppenheimer and C.E. Unterberg, Towbin. Lee was an all American team food analyst, a diversified company analyst and Director of equity research. He also started and managed a hedge fund. He is a graduate of Princeton University and received his MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He serves on various boards including the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee of the St. Andrews School in Middletown, Delaware.

 

Michael D. Rhea

Mr. Rhea joined Northeast in late 2009 to develop and grow the equity capital markets division.  He has over 24 years of Institutional Equity experience with particular emphasis on Healthcare and Power Production. He worked with such firms as Lehman, CIBC Oppenheimer, Soleil Securities and most recently Merriman Curhan Ford.  Prior to joining Wall Street Michael was a corporate litigation attorney in New York for five years. He received his BA and JD from Tulane Univeristy.

Mr. Friedman has over 35 years of health care investment banking and research experience. He joined Northeast Securities as a managing director in February, 2010 from Burnham Securities, where he had been the co-head of their health care investment banking practice from 2003 to 2010. Prior to joining Burnham, Mr. Friedman was with Dominick & Dominick, where he ran their healthcare practice. Mr. Friedman spent five years with Flemings, the British merchant bank, where he headed the health care industry group, working extensively with both U.S. and international healthcare companies. His career includes tenure at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, where he served as Managing Director, responsible for international healthcare banking transactions; at Prudential Bache Capital Funding, where he was hired as Managing Director to start and manage its Health care-Corporate Finance Group; at Montgomery Securities, where he was a General Partner and Co-Founder of Montgomery Medical Ventures, and at L.F. Rothschild Unterberg Towbin, where he was a First Team Institutional Investor-ranked hospital supply medical device analyst. Mr. Friedman has served as a member of the Board of Directors of: MaxiCare Health Plans, Inc., Alta Bates Hospital and Health Care Corporation (Berkley, CA), The Mount Zion Hospital and Medical Center (San Francisco), and The Health Plan of California. Mr. Friedman was recently elected a Fellow of The Institute of Directors in London and currently serves on the board of directors of the Children’s Health Fund (New York), The Citizens Committee for New York City, and as a trustee of The Health Care and Biotechnology Venture Fund (Toronto). Mr. Friedman received his BA in Political Science from University of Pennsylvania and his MBA in Finance & Marketing from Wharton School.

 

Roger C. Kahn

Mr. Kahn is a seasoned investment banker with over 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and financings. He has worked on hundreds of completed engagements and has consummated over $10 billion in transactions in the aggregate. Mr. Kahn, who joined Northeast Securities in 2010, focuses on transactions involving middle market companies, with an emphasis on biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and healthcare services, and he provides general LBO coverage and transaction execution. Mr. Kahn began his professional career at Bankers Trust Company and was a member of the merger and acquisition departments of Dean Witter and Bear Stearns from 1980 to 1985. He ran the mergers and acquisitions department of L.F. Rothschild from 1985 to 1988 and was a senior investment banker at OBC Oppenheimer from 1989 to 1998. Subsequently, he ran the healthcare groups at Gruntal and Tucker Anthony Sutro. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Burnham Securities. Mr. Kahn has been a member of the board of directors of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology, JLM Industries and Pulse Engineering. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia College in 1974 and a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 1976.

 

Steven Eisenberg

For over 20 years, Mr. Eisenberg was widely recognized as a top ranked gaming, lodging, and leisure analyst, achieving the number one rank in both the Institutional InvestorAll-American Team poll and the Wall Street Journal's “Best on the Street”survey of all brokerage industry analysts. From 1981-1991 he was a managing director at Bear Stearns & Co. and from 1991-2000 he was a managing director at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and CIBC World Markets. The early part of his career was spent at Philips, Appel and Walden. Mr. Eisenberg received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. He currently oversees Northeast Securities Inc's gaming, lodging, entertainment & leisure effort.

 

Andrew Russell

 Andrew Russell joined Northeast Securities, Inc. in 2005 and has focused his efforts on structuring and placement of a variety of transactions across sectors such as alternative energy, consumer products, and technology.  Prior to Northeast, Mr. Russell held several positions in multiple industries, including film and television, media, consultancy, and retail.  Mr. Russell received his BS from Skidmore College.

 

Matthew Bonelli

Matthew J. Bonelli joined Northeast Securities, Inc. in January of 2010 as an associate in Investment Banking and Specialized Finance.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bonelli spent three years at Goldman Sachs.  Mr. Bonelli received his B.S. in Business Administration from Bucknell University where he also started and ran a profitable student services business venture.  Mr. Bonelli was captain of Bucknell’s NCAA Division I Track & Field Team for both his junior and senior year.
